Saluki Volunteer Corps is an educational program open to all students at SIUC. Numerous short-term and on-going service activities help students explore academic-related volunteer opportunities. SVC works with over 70 non-profit organizations in the region. Across the country, record numbers of students are participating in civic and volunteer programs!
Students who participate in Saluki Volunteer Corps can request a Student Involvement Transcript when they are ready to graduate. This document includes a student's academic-related volunteer activity, community service, organizational involvement and leadership experience.

Listen to what a successful alum has to say about Saluki Volunteer Corps!:
"I am a recent SIU graduate and active Saluki Volunteer Corps member when I was there. I recently got a Chemist job in St. Louis and will be moving, but I thought you might want to let Undergrads know that my involvement in school was highly looked at during the interview process. I was considered a top candidate for one of those reasons that I was an active volunteer and the company I am about to work for was one of their values. They considered my Presidential Service Award as phenomonal."
